Karate Kat Resources

Below you will find all the resources you need to launch Karate Kat in your classrooms.  These resources are available as .pdf and also as Word documents.  Best thing is that they are ABSOLUTELY FREE for you to use!

Certificates of Achievement

Each time a student completes a level, celebrate their achievement by presenting them with one of our cool, high quality certificates.

Each level has it's own certificate - all you need to do is write your student's name into the space provided or type it in using the Word version.  You can also date and sign it down the bottom for that personal touch!

Classroom Displays

Download our high quality posters and charts for your classroom.
Display the times tables charts and motivate your kids to learn.

The wall charts can help map progress, celebrate achievement and motivate the kids to move to the next level!

See right for an example display from one of our classrooms.  Student names are written on name charts as they progress through Karate Kat.  Individual performance is focused upon, and doing your best; going at your pace.  It is not a competition.

Student Bookmarks

Picture
Use these student bookmarks to help your students isolate the facts they need to learn.  Simply use the training zone for the relevant times table, and use the wooden board feature (see 'How Does It Work?' section) to identify the facts that the student doesn't know.  Highlight the facts to learn.  These can be stuck in the student diary (great for home-school connections) or can be stuck on the student's table as a reminder.

We use the training zone on a Monday to identify facts, get the student to highlight the facts to learn from the wooden board, learn during the week - and then on a Friday, we 'enter the Dojo' to 'go for' our Karate Belt.

The students that were tested found this to be most valuable and gave them some direction to their learning.  Parents also loved having something easy they could help their kids with at home.  All in all, a brilliant resource!
